What a busy few weeks!
We were all really impressed with the children's attitude during the mock SATs. However they got on, they were all resilient, persistent and positive and can be very proud of themselves.
This week we are writing letters based on the WW2 story 'Good Night Mr Tom' and enjoying using some 1940s slang! In maths we are focussing on co-ordinates in all 4 quadrants.
Over half term, the children have English homework that needs to be returned on the first day back. They need to research an area of WW2 related to their chosen WW2 Experience Topic. They will be writing a page long fact file and so their research needs to be sufficiently detailed and reliably sourced. They may want to include pictures.
We are also sending home a letter explaining the audition process for the year 6 production including links to the audition songs and a piece of script for the children to practise.
