This week we’ve held elections for school council and we were very impressed with the maturity and careful preparation of all the candidates. Well done to those who were successful.
In English, we have been learning about the writing process and how to effectively edit.
In Maths, we are revising place value and column addition.
Last Friday, sixteen of our Year 6s travelled to Failand to participate in the BGS cross country event. The team showed great resilience and sportsmanship, encouraging each other to finish a considerably longer course than they are used to. Our under 11 girls won their category out of 17 teams and under 11 boys came second. Tom Woodworth deserves a special mention for winning the under 11 boys’ race. Well done!
