Year 4 Update Term 5 Week 3

Year 4 Update 4.5.20 Lots of exciting challenges this week. Can you be a super Yeti?

Hello Year 4 pupils and parents.

We hope that you are all continuing to stay well, safe and happy while you do your learning from home. We have certainly loved seeing all the fabulous examples of work you have been emailing to us.

Some of you have been asking if you need to send us all your work. There is absolutely no pressure to send every piece of work you do each week. Three pieces a week in one email is what we would like to see. You can choose which pieces you would like to show us.

We have really enjoyed hearing some of your voices this week when we have telephoned you for a check in. If you haven’t heard from us yet, don’t worry, you haven’t been forgotten. We are spreading our telephone calls over the term so look out for that call with an unknown telephone number.

In English this week, you’ll be finding out about animals who have ‘great escapes’, practise skills you’ve learnt throughout the year and try your spelling knowledge of words ending in 'sion.'

In maths, you will be practising the four operations to solve money problems and revisit column subtraction and problems using RUCSAC. Don”t forget to keep up your times tables practise too and perhaps try the extra maths challenge.

How are you all getting on with being Yetis this week Year 4? The Yeat 4 Yeti teacher of the week award goes to................... ***Mrs Garrett!***

We hope you enjoy your home learning this week and that you challenge yourself to be a yeti.

Take care everyone.

Mrs James, Mrs Adcock, Mrs Garrett and Mrs Tabley
