In Year 5 we learn all about the Vikings, who came to Britain from Scandinavia, after the Romans and the Anglo Saxons and before William the Conqueror arrived with the Normans.

We enjoyed our Viking day, when we all dressed up and welcomed a special visitor who showed us lots of interesting artefacts and taught us how the Vikings lived. We made lots of connections with modern day life in England.
