Sorry for the lack of blogs over the last few weeks we had a lot of technical issues. However hopefully it is all sorted out now.
Wow what an amazing few weeks!! Year 5 did amazingly in their space assembly; both to the school on Thursday and to parents on Friday of last week. A massve thank you to all of the parents who created costumes and practised words with their children- you helped make a memorable assembly!!
We have spent a lot of the last few weeks rehursing but we have also had time to work on Multiplication, Area and Perimeter in Maths.
In English we have all been working on our Magic Box poems and using the 'Descriptosaurus' book to support our writing of descriptive settings.
We have also been having a big push on handwriting, especailly letter formation and joining. We would really appreciate your support at home to make sure that your child is forming their letters/ numbers correctly and writing in a uniform size.
In Science we have been building on our Space assembly facts by learning more about the solar system and in Topic we have been starting our Europe lessons.
