This week in maths we are continuing to use our knowledge of fractions and are linking it with decimals. E.g 0.25 =1/4, 0.5=1/2 0.75=3/4 etc. 3/10=0.3. Please continue to help your child grow in confidence with their times tables.
In English, we have started a new unit of work Explanation texts, since completing our fabulous and exciting mini sagas. This will be linked to our Earth Explorers topic as we will be trying to explain the function of a natural disaster early-warning system. We will be including features like paragraphs, sub-headings, labelled diagrams, conjunctions (time and casual).
