In English, we have been planning our own fantasy story, ready to start writing our story opening this week. We have also looked at how to write really interesting sentences including adjectives and conjunctions.
In Maths, we have been looking at times tables and their division facts. We are also bringing in the use of doubling and halving to help us work out any times tables we are unsure of.
For Spellings, we are starting a new unit using the prefix im- before words that start with an m or a p.
A reminder that spellings now run on a two week schedule rather than every week, meaning children have longer to learn their spellings. Ask your child's teacher if you are unsure of the test date.
