UK Safer Internet Centre

This site is an absolute MUST READ for all parents. It explains how to access security settings on your home broadband, and tells you how to manage your children's phones, gaming devices and other internet enabled equipment.

Think U Know

This is the place to go for all sorts of online safety advice. There are sections aimed at children of various ages, and sections for parents and teachers. Here is a guide to protecting your child from abuse online.

National Online Safety

NOS publish lots of useful guides for parents, including guides to games and apps and general advice on how to set up parental controls.




is the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre. It is part of the National Crime Agency. You will find CEOP buttons all over our website, making it easy for you to report online abuse or dangerous looking activity.

NSPCC NetAware

An excellent guide to the social networking and gaming sites children are most likely to use. It includes age recommendations and reviews from parents and children.

Internet Matters

This is a not-for-profit organisation aimed at parents and backed by BT, Sky, Talk Talk and Virgin Media. It aims to help parents keep children safe in a digital world.
