Congratulations to Molly in Year 6, who has been announced today as the winner of Asda's national competition to design a poster promoting plastic recycling.
We submitted more than 30 entries to the competition just before the summer, and we were very impressed with the quality of work submitted. Molly's poster, as you can see, is a very thoughtful and carefully executed piece of work. The judges obviously thought so too, and awarded it first prize.
Molly wins a substantial prize for herself, but we are absolutely delighted to announce that the school wins £20,000 to spend on projects to promote sustainable living and environmental awareness. We look forward to developing plans with our children, and getting our whole community involved in this important educational work. Look out for details of our Sustainable Living Project!
