We are always impressed with how much our children care for others. In our Assemblies this term, we have been learning about the importance of including and respecting everybody, regardless of differences. We have been impresssed by stories of young people who have overcome remarkable obstacles in order to achieve success and happiness.
Our School Council have helped us decided which charities we will be supporting this year, and they were very keen to be part of the BBC's annual Children In Need Appeal. As well as dressing up today, they have been busy at home taking part in the Children's Chore Challenge. In return for doing useful jobs around the home, parents have made generous donations to our Children In Need appeal using the online Henleaze Junior School CiN ParentPay page.
