    Henleaze Infant School

    Applying for a School Place

    Our current (September 2025) pupil admissions numbers (PAN) are 60 for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

    Henleaze Infant School has a well-established induction program for children joining our school in Reception to enable us to tailor provision for children from their individual starting points. We recognise that some families may still choose to defer or delay entry for their child’s Reception year. If you are considering either of the above for your child, we request that you complete the form below, and the Headteacher will arrange an appointment.

    Our September 2026 pupil admissions numbers (PAN) are 60 for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

    If you applied online for Reception 2025 you should have received an email from your home local authority with a link to log on to the Parent Portal.

    Please note that we cannot add you to the Reception 2025 waiting list directly. This must be done through your home local authority.

    Admission Arrangements 2026/27

    In line with the School Admissions Code, Cathedral Schools Trust (CST) has determined (agreed) the admission arrangements for the academic year 2026/27. These arrangements are for children who will be admitted to the school at the normal point of entry for September 2026.

    Henleaze Infant School In-Year Admission for 2025/26 academic year

    An in-year admission means admission to a current year group for a child who is already attending school but wishes to change schools due to relocation or a change in circumstances.

    The school now processes its own in-year applications.

    Admission Arrangements

    Our current (September 2025) pupil admissions numbers (PAN) are 90 for years 3, 5 and 6 and 60 for Year 4. 

    Children who attend Henleaze Infant School in Year 2 automatically qualify for a place in Year 3. Children from other schools and children transferring during the year, or in older year groups, need to apply.  Please use the online application form shown below or email office@henleazejuniorschool.org 

    As an Academy, Henleaze Junior School is its own admissions authority. Any applications made to the local education authority will be forwarded to us. We will then contact you and ask you to complete our application form.

    In-Year Admission for 2025/26 academic year

    An in-year admission means admission to a current year group for a child who is already attending school but wishes to change schools due to relocation or a change in circumstances.
