This week in maths we have been adding 4 digit numbers together, using the column method. Presentation and layout are extremely important so we are encouraging children to use rulers and writing one digit per square to help prevent errors. Our multiplication focus this week is 6s, building on the relationship with 3s. A little practise every day really helps here!
In English, we are continuing to write our Greek Myths, with a focus on editing.
Our spelling focus continues to be words with the suffix -sure, such as measure and pleasure. Please ensure your child is learning their 'log and learn' words ready for 'Speed Spell' next week.
