The Parents Forum and the School Council have been looking at the HJS Values this week and making suggestions for how they might be updated.
These statements, which you will find on the website, on the walls in the classrooms, and at the front of our School Developmetn Plan every year, were written over ten years ago, following a consultation with members of the school community, and they have served us well. But we think it is time to check them through with the pupils, parents, staff and governors of the school now to see if they are clear, helpful and appropriate.
We are grateful for all the brilliant suggestions made by parents and pupils so far. We've enjoyed playing the "post-it game" together. We are looking forward to doing the same with the staff and with the governors.
