Welcome back! We are so impressed with how the children have settled in to their new classes, and started to take on the responsibility of being the leaders of the school.
This week in maths we are revising place value, and in English we are revising parts of speech and basic punctuation. We’ll also be starting our class reader “Holes”.
Spellings will be coming home this week along with a number of baseline assessments which we completed in class last week, so that children can share their results with you and, with support, go through some of the questions they didn’t get right (bearing in mind that these assessments include material which we will go on to cover later in the year).
