Some professional bakers from Warburtons have been in year 6 this week, doing workshops on breadmaking which link with our science and PSHE topics. Much enthusiastic kneading and careful shaping was in evidence, as the children in classes 1 and 2 rolled their sleeves up, washed their hands and got to work to produce some delicious bread rolls. We learnt a lot about the bread making process, as well as adding to our understanding of how to avoid food waste and eat a balanced diet.
