We started off this week with a fantastic Science workshop led by Badminton School- there are lots of great pictures of this on the previous post. The classes learnt so much about states of matter e.g solids, liquids and gasses and what happens to different materials when they come into contact with extreme temperatures.
In Maths we have been continuing to work on place value. We have been rounding numbers to 10,100 and 1000 and partitioning numbers into thousands, hundreds, tens and ones.
In English we have been continuing with our work on Beowulf. We have written a fight scene between a monster and a hero focusing on punctuation and vocabulary and learning how to edit with a learning partner.
Our spelling pattern is ‘silent B’.
